There is somthing I found interesting, Disney made only five animated movies during the 70's. :o

hi,JamieMcBain..that confuses me since i'm pretty sure it was Disney that produced Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs(should be dwarves ::)) and Bambi that i saw in theaters in the 70s..or were they released in the 60s ? ???

Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs, was the very first Disney animated movie, and it was released in 1937, Bambi was released in 1942, I hope it helps!

Earlier than that, Maria - I think they were created in the 1940s...
In the days before video & DVD, Disney used to re-run its movies almost every week...
Sadly, the above films weren't of the normally fine standard of Disney...'The Aristocats' was probably the best of the bunch...

of course..just threw me off thinking about sitting there looking at the big screen when i was five :D

Actually, Steamboat Wille was the first animated movie from Walt Disney.

That's amazing. ::) ;) Of course, that was before my time, so I wouldn't know that. But my vote is for "Bedknobs and Broomsticks"; that's the only one out of the five that I've seen.

I could be wrong...But I thought Steamboat Willie was the first film to feature Mickey Mouse, but Disney had released another animated film short about a year earlier...But please note, I may be wrong, and infact, now I think about it, it is more than likely that I am wrong.
Another little bit of Disney trivia: they were the first company to release a coloured animated film. I think it was called Plants and Trees, or Animals and Trees, or Birds and Trees...or something like that.
Oh....and I picked Bedknobs and Broomsticks.

I picked Robin Hood, but I also liked Pete's Dragon. :)
