Between the four sweathogs, I would pick Horshack as my favorite - I thought his nasally voice was funny as well as when he'd raise his hand in class and go "ooh ooh ooh".  ;D


I also liked the sarcastic banter between Kotter and Mr Woodman, such as when Kotter would say to Woodman, "Did you forget to take your medicine?"  I thought Kotter's uncle jokes were a bit lame, though.

Barbarino was about as stupid as Jethro from Beverly Hillbillies, but I have to go with Horshack...there's no way to describe him, Kotter was a nut too, LOL.

I LOVE this show....And I LOVE Horshack!!!

But Barbarino isnt far behind.

I especially love the episode where the sweathogs and Mr Kotter get trapped in some kind of vault (I cant really remember the context now its been many many years) and they send Horshack through the air vents to get help. The ones still in the vault follow Horshacks voice around the vaults walls ("OOOh Mista Kortar oI can see loight Mista Kortar!!!") until his feet appear out of the vent on the wall directly opposit of where he entered the vent.

On that episode alone Id have to pick Horshack.

Well...they were QUITE the ensemble cast so it's hard to pick a favorite.

I liked Horshack and his wife, Mary.
I liked Washington and Vernajean (they were almost married)

I liked Carvelli and Murray

I liked Mrs. Kotter up until they made her school secretary (then her character just didn't get any good lines)

I liked Barbarino and his boss at the hospital, Nurse Bonnie.

But, I'll always like Gabe Kotter the best, he really seemed to care about the kids but not talk down to them like they were stupid. 

I liked Mrs. Kotter, who did look like a stereotypical 70s hot wife.
