As much as I loved Boston's debut LP....I am going with Foreigner :)

Ive always thought Boston always had the most unique sounds in rock and consequently the better band. I cant think of another band that layered their guitars the way Boston did.

I voted both b/c I like them both, though I like Foreigner slightly better than Boston.

Boston, I wasn't big on Foreigner. Boston's debut album is great , 'Don't look Back' is good too. :)

I like Boston's debut as much as I liked Foreigners "Double Vision LP...nearly every song on both....but I liked Foreigners debut better than "Don't Look Back"...in addition Foreigner had "Head Games" in '79, not a great LP but I liked some from that one as well. That's how I arrived at my decision ;)

yeah, there was just something about Foreigner's sound that I didn't like, I remember them getting tons of airplay and they had good songs, just not for me. :)

early Foreigner was the best, no comparison, songs like Dirty White Boy, Double Vision, Rev on the red line

This comparison is pretty tough, I'm gonna go with Boston, the way they laid down the 3 albums only when they were set and good to go is very rare. Foreigner is still just as modern today as Boston or The Cars.
