Subject: battle of the Neils

Young for me, Diamond is cool and 2nd, I haven't heard much Sedaka in a very long time, one of my older sisters got me a Neil Sedaka tape for I think my 13th or 14th birthday. They always seemed to buy me music that they liked. :)

between diamond and sedaka, neil diamond would have won but throw in neil young...no contest. but neil young and the other two have conflicting styles of music.

Neil Armstrong achieved better heights than any other Neil.

Since there was no option for 'other', I picked none of the above - my favorite Neil would have to be Neil Finn (I know he's considered more of an 80's artist, but he did start performing with Split Enz in the late 70's. :)

Neil Young's the best. I like some of Diamonds songs and a few of Sedaka's early songs.

Darn...where's the "All" option :-\\
I've always liked Neil Young even though his concert I went to last year was horrific. It was a "Play" about a ficticious town "Greendale"...he only played 2 of his hits and people were leaving before it was half over ::)

How about an "All Of The Above"? Although the three are like comparing apples and oranges. Still, I have reasons to like each of them... :)

In support of my fellow Canucks, the only choice is Neil Young. I loved alot of his songs, especially his 1992 hit "Harvest Moon" and his 1989 CSNY hit "American Dream" :)

Tough call, but for me it's Neil Diamond by an nose.
Sidenote: Both Neil Young and Neil Diamond have guest performances in "The Last Waltz," the Martin Scorcese-directed concert film of The Band's farewell concert on Thanksgiving Day, 1976. Great movie, especially if you crank it up on a modern surround-sound system. :)
