Well, I managed to click on 'Other'...
'It Might As Well Rain Until September' which was originally intended for Bobby Vee - her version from 1962 is a fully-formed 'demo' which was so good, it was deemed suitable for release...
And it's a textbook exercise in songwriting between her and her then-husband (Gerry Goffin)...great stuff...

She wrote that for the Shirelles. So, it's basically a cover song, which I don't care for. I prefer the original by the group.
I voted for So Far Away. I must be the only one that likes it.

I love most of her stuff-especially the entire Tapestry album but I had to vote for It's Too Late. Brings back a lot of memories-but You Got a Friend is a close second (sang that once at a wedding ;D)

Carole King is my #1 singer of all time. My favorite song of hers is "A Quite Place To Live" from the "Fantasy" album.
Got the chance of a lifetime to see her in concert this summer....now I can die and go to heaven! :)

I forgot to mention the "Really Rosie" album. :-Where the Wild Things Are fame and the music by Carole. Yes, it is a children's record (and movie) but I love it.

I voted for So Far Away. It describes all my friendships with high school/college friends....but with all of them scattered I have a place to crash practically everywhere I travel!
