i just saw your request from last year. i can't help you because i was wondering the same thing. i wanted to show my friend a pic of a pair of treads but i can't even find that. did you end up finding a pair ?

I can't tell you where to find them, but I think the full name of them was "Sport Treds" (all my brother's wore them)
Maybe a google search or ebay would be helpful.
