Lucky this wasn't an 80's poll, or I would have deducted max points for "worst fake aussie accent by any american actor in history*** " for her performance in "Evil Angels" as Lindy Chamberlain ::) ::) ::) ::)
*** and there have been some absolute shockers over the years, too !

I picked Meryl Streep because I liked her performance in Kramer vs Kramer.

I didn't say I didn't like it, Indy.
It's hard to explain.
That incident had a very profound and lasting effect on this country, and it's psyche, that is just as strong today.
All I was saying was that that the accent Meryl used - she must have spent about 5 minutes perfecting.
Literally, if you have ever heard a whole country laugh in unison, it was the first time we heard Meryl Streep utter those words.
Imagine about 20 million of these to go with it : ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) and you start to get the idea ;D
