Subject: Funky clothes you wore as a kid

I had a 'Glow worm' t-shirt and to this day it's still the best t-shirt I ever owned. Had a kind of polyester finish, light blue I think with a big friendly looking orange, grinning glow worm on the front.
Anyone else remember looking funky in the 70's ?

LOL fantastic! they should still make those...
Remember 'stretch' denim. I had a pair of stretch denim flairs with a checkered flag and a racing car on the knee, they were cool as!

Bell bottom trousers with wide wide legs, about a 18" across at foot level.

When I look at the ol family album and see myself as a kid some of the clothes I wore where way cooler than I dress today, flairs, addidas track suit tops etc

Polyester pant suits,one purple and one aqua,red plaid poncho with hood,ymagenta courdoroy pant suit,pink granny dress,pinafores--I'll probably thinkk of more later

I used to love the iron on T-shirts! I had one made up of the 'Happy Days' gang and The Rolling Stones.
When I was about three or so, I had these ugly red checkered pants! Not good!

As a teenager I had a pair of red velour hip-huggers with HUGE bell bottoms...Bodyshirts or bodysuits...gauchos....Gawd knows how many pairs of white painter's pants,jeans,khakis,Printed T-shirts(fave was "Let Lennon Stay") and of course Pro-Keds,go-go boots, Earth shoes,Candies, and Converse All-Star's..

;D I remember one outfit I had that I actually thought was cool..I wore it in Kindergarten..It was a top and matching shorts, blue and white..with a big Red ladybug on the chest and a matching Red ladybug on the left leg of the shorts..And I even had bright Red clogs to march..I loved that outfit!! Those Red clogs not only looked cool but they were a weapon as we'll, I remember some little boy made fun of me and I clocked him in the eye with one of my clogs..LOL!!!!!!!!!!

my eighth grade graduation i wore a blue liesure suit.
if that wasn't bad enough i had a silk shirt with the wide
collar. the shirt had a tennis player design
