Subject: Jackson Browne song poll

The 'Load Out- Stay' is a favorite of mine, and a perfect end to his 'Running On Empty' album. A couple other favorites are 'Doctor My Eyes' and 'You Love The Thunder' :)

I picked "Running on Empty, Boulevard & Somebody's Baby".
I personally don't much care for his singer-songwriter type stuff in the 70's, or anything he's done past about the mid 80's.
The three songs I picked are some of the more commercial ones he's done. I really like his rockier stuff (especially "Blvd" - that's probably one of the hardest rockers he's ever done. Love it!). "Somebody's Baby" is just flat out fun 80's pop/rock too - reminds me of 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High'.
PS: I liked "Stay" too, maybe in part 'cause I like the oldie original from the early 60's.
Other favorites include "Lawyers in Love", That Girl Could Sing, and Lawless Avenues.

I voted for Somebody's Baby, Running On Empty, and other (Stay, which I've just gotten acquainted with over the past few months).

I love his 70s work, but I gotta pick other. His Clarence Clemons duet 'You're a Friend of Mine' is my all-time favourite, followed very closely by 'Lawyers in Love' :)

'Doctor My Eyes' for me...
His version of 'Stay' (which turned out to be his biggest British hit) does nothing for me... :P

No...I didn't think it was very good, either...
