Subject: Best Late seventies Punk

Written By: Mullet-Head on 06/30/05 at 8:13 pm

The best punk came out in the late seventies. It was replaced by hardcore in the eighties. Hardcore was never as good as late seventies punk.

The Sex Pistols        Sham 69                  The Buzzcocks

The Clash                Stiff little fingers

The Ramones            The Damned

X Ray Speks                Generation X

excellent punk band unfortunately they sold out to the 80's
MTV crowd. We also can't forget the Dead Kennedys.
