I remember that movie but I always get that confused with the Cannonball Run. I guess the plot was the same. :D

Yes! Right before he crashed into the trees he was listening to an old local AM station here in Colorado Springs, 1460 KYSN :)

Cool, I did not know that. I lived in Denver for a bit in 1983-84. I laughed my posterior off when he hit the swarm of moths. ;D ;D ;D ;D

It's possible. I was pretty busy filling my brain with knowledge back then and didn't listen to the radio much. If they played rock & pop I probably heard them. I really didn't pay attention to where the dial was tuned.
