That would be the 1986 hit All I Wanted by the 70's band Kansas :)

Not a bad song, they went through a lot of changes once the 80s rolled around. The stuff from the 70s was much better I think.

some trivia: All I Wanted was the 7th top 40 hit for Kansas, it was the 4th one to reach the top 20 and was the 13th of the 14 hits in total they had :)
I know. I know. I'm a chart music trivia geek :D

The song can be found on the 'Power' CD for anyone interested, or on one of their greatest hits CDs I'm sure.
Pretty impressive chart music knowledge there ;)
