It took place I would say late 70s ('79 or so) basically about a group of teens on the California surf scene, having drag races, usual dating scene, stuff like that. I think it was on Monday nights, bt not sure. Any ideas?

LOL!! :D I know, VERY general! But I really can't recall any familiar actors in this. I just know it was on WCBS ch 2 I think on Mondays.
Maybe it was supposed to take place in Malibu Beach?? Hope that helps a bit.
I never said this wouldn't be tricky. Not sure anyone will get it, but who knows.

I couldn't find anything on CBS on Monday nights called Malibu High. Could it possibly be Square Pegs. Here is a link to a site that gives you the line up-for whatever year.

Well, came up short! I'll bet it was one of those series on short term filling in for another, or maybe it was so bad only a few episodes ran that wasn't worth recording. Thanks anyway! ;)

I think I remember this show that you're talking about, it was on for a very short time. I think Kristy McNichols brother Jimmy was in it, and I can't remember the title but 'California Dreamin' comes to mind.
