Subject: candy/snack of the 70s??

i have a terrible memory but maybe someone out there can help.

I a trying to remember a candy/snack that has the following characteristcs (that i can remember)

about 4-5 inches long
round and thin (about the size of a pencil)
sort of chocolate flavored
consistency - firm but not hard. Ã‚Â The best i can describe is if tootsie roll is hard and chewy this was light and less chewy. Ã‚Â LIke a 10% of the consistency of tootsie roll.
Individually wrapped.

I tried describing it to some people and they just look at me with blank stares.

any help you can rpovide would be great

I remember those. Weren't they called something like Astronaut sticks or Energy sticks, the kind the astronauts were supposed to have eaten. The size of a twix bar, almost. I think they also had peanutbutter, but chocolate was the one we always ate.
