My vote goes to H. R. Pufenstuf.  I had a serious crush on Jack Wild after seeing him in the movie "Oliver"

I loved Jack Wild too. I would watch Oliver! faithfully every year when it was on tv. What a cutie.
Yet, despite my love for him, I was devoted to the teenagers with accents and wings.  I'm going to find a picture of the Bugaloos..
I'll be back.

The Bugaloos, Joy, Courage, I.Q. and Harmony, along with their little firefly buddy Sparky, are your average insect/human do-gooders who are also a smashing British rock group to boot. They live and rock in Tranquility Forest, the last of the British colonies, where they look for good deeds to do as protectors of the forest and find time to sing a few songs in between. Their wicked nemesis, Benita Bazarre (Martha Raye), is hell-bent on trying to destroy their "disgusting goodness".

I loved Land Of The Lost (Will was hot) .. and those sleestacks scared the crap out of me as a kid.  I also loved Sigmund and the Seamonsters.. I loved Johnny the redheaded kid. he was so cute.
I hated Lidsville and Bugaloos and HR Puffnstuff.  they were just too  out there.

I didn't watch them.  But my friend mentioned the characters "Slurp" and "Burp" the other day.  Which show were they on? :)

The only one I've heard of was H & R Puff n' Stuff.

And anyone who thinks that wasn't created under the influence hasn't taken a good look at the title.

Did you forget any others? Dr Shrinker, Bigfoot and Wildboy, The Lost Saucer, Far Out Space Nuts - that small list of yours is only a tip of the iceberg.

Anyway - of what you have there - Land of the Lost, hands down. That show, especialy the first season, works on so many levels. It's intelligent, smartly writen, has a strong sense of continuity, and came from some of the BEST science fiction authors ever. Yeah, its low budget cheese, but its well done cheese!

I voted for Land Of The Lost, but there really should be an "Other" choice as well.

S&M produced a large number of shows, including the Donny & Marie Show, The Bay City Rollers Show, and D.C. Follies.  It is really hard to pick just one from their amazing lineup of productions.

Finding this topic is rather surprising, since it was just announced that Jack Wild died today.  He is most often remembered as Jimmy from Pufnstuf.

Speaking of H.R. Pufnstuf, Jack Wild, the little boy on that show, died today at the age of 53.  From what I read, he had been battling cancer for a few years.
