I love Richard Dawson.
He really didn't do much and was such a celebrity.
and a drunk..

What did Brett Somers actually do?

I do know that she played his ex-wife in the Odd Couple, too. She did a few other things, too.

She was married to Bobby Van.

I always liked Joyce Bulifant. She was funny. She was in a movie called "The Happiest Millionaire" with Fred McMurry, Lesile Ann Warren and a VERY young John Davidson.

And another obsure panelist was Patti Dauche (sp?)-who I also thought was funny.

I knew she'd be married to someone like that.

And Patty Deutsch (sp?)
yeah, I"m off to search the interwebworld for a picture of her.

I was too young for Match Game when it was on the air, but I do remember watching it as part of the 'Match Game / Hollywood Squares' Hour :)

I also watched the revivals of it in 1990 and 1998 :)

Was able to remember a couple other regulars: Marcia Wallace who portrayed Bob Newharts receptionist on his show and David Doyle of Charlies Angels fame. There

I think you mean Debralee Scott, right? If you look closely, the name on her plate says "Debralee".

My fave guests are Charles Nelson Reilly (standard) and Richard Dawson (standard). I love the double entendres that litter the show.

Brett, to me, was odd, but not gross.

Sorry if I duplicated anyone's answer, but how about Betty White?  She was on quite a lot and usually came up with some funny answers.

Brett Somers recently had a caberet act in Manhattan. She said they all smoked and drank cocktails during the tapings of Match Game. If you watch the show now, its very obvious they were all liquored up. Maybe thats why she always wore sunglasses.

OIh, man, I'd loove to see her in real life. I could talk to her all day.
I'd like to meet Charles Nelson Reilly too.
and I really should have been on that show :)

It was awesome! I went twice. The second time I saw it I ran into Corrine from Soap on my way out. It was like a double 70's moment. She (Corrine) is quite tall.... she made me feel like I was standing in a hole.
