Hello !
This is my first post ... I am happy to have found this site !
My Brother and I had a toy from the 70's and I would LOVE to remember the name of it.
From what I recall, it was a large red plastic flashlight that you placed monster pictures in and they illuminated on the wall or ceiling.
They scared me so much, but then again, I fell in love with Gene Simmons becasue he scared me :)

I actually have one of these. I dont know what theyre called, but if its the same as mine, you put little round peice of clear plastic with a picture over the end of the tortch type of thing and then shone it onto the roof.
You could get little additions that allowed you to turn the 'tortch' like a kaliedascope (Sp?) and you could have your own little slide show.
They used to scare me as well. I seem to remember having a little clear disc with King Kong on it and another with Dracula etc.
