Subject: Pippa Dolls.

Written By: Gis on 02/16/06 at 7:50 am

I'm wondering if Pippa dolls were just a U.k thing or if they were available in America too?
I had about 7 of them I think,They were about 6 inches tall with long hair and you could buy different outfits for them. They all had different names, I remember marie was my favourite.

It appears they were just a U.K thing. I found a load on ebay and decided they were actually kind of scarey looking ! ;D

I really, really wanted a Pippa doll.  My friend had a couple of them.  Weren't they supposed to be Barbies younger sister?  Or perhaps that's just how we played with them.

That's so spooky I was just talking about Pippa dolls the other day.

Yeah Marie was my favourite too, she had the long dark hair, I remember I used to keep her in my cardigan pocket.

Palitoy were (are?) based in a town just up the road from where I live.  I remember going there one year to buy a load of toys for some Christmas Bazaar or something my parents were organising at the school.
