Subject: Your favorite 70's "lowrider oldie"

I'm not sure if "Lowrider Oldies" is an international term or not... but if you look at the choices, you'll get the idea. :)

I like all of them alot... but my favorites are the three Stylistics ones.

I think the better-known term for classic R&B is "jammin' oldies." At least that's the term that every R&B oldies station I've heard uses for this genre.

Anyway, only 3 options? Are you kidding? I have a whole box set of nothing but 70's soul.  ;)

Having said that, I chose "If You Don't Know Me By Now," "Didn't I (Blow Your Mind This Time)," and "Other, since my all-time favorite R&B song isn't on the list.
That song would be "Give Me Just A Little More Time," by Chairmen of the Board.

How about War's "All Day Music"?

..or 'LowRider' even...think that's a different style of music though to the choices here.

Love Philly stuff  :)
