I love that song "Hey There Lonely GIrl".  I always used to think it was a 60's song because of the way it sounds

Well, it's a cover of a 1970 song...that's probably why it sounds 60's-ish  and it's funny you should bring this up at this very moment... I was just minutes ago searching limewire for Robert John's "Hey There Lonely Girl" (with no luck) although I have the original...


Not only is it a remake of a 1970 song.. but that one is a remake of "Hey There Lonely Boy" from 1963

Do you know who the artist in 1963 is?  I'd be interested in hearing it...

And it was also covered by The Stylistics, and even Donny Osmond. :o
