I vote for After the Lovin' as it's just such a beautiful song :)

I picked After The Loving also...

I don't know how Albert Of The North is gonna answer this one though... he loves them all, I'm sure. ;D

I went with "The Way It Used To Be" but there're some others that also merit a nod

Ah! The 'Hump'...

I have a special affinity for his early stuff, mainly becuase my Ma (who was and still is a huge fan) would play this at any given opportunity...

At the time, I thought it was horrendously 'square', but eventually came to realise what a fine voice he has...

I pick his definitive reading of 'Release Me' (which still holds the record for the most consecutive number of weeks on the British singles chart...56!), but any of his pre-1970 stuff is class...

As I like all his recordings it is difficult to pin-point a certain song.

You know, I was going take the high road and be polite and just sit this one out and say nothing, but no! You just had to call me out!

Actually, I too voted for "After The Loving," not because it's the song that I dislike the least, but because it actually is a pretty good song.

All the other songs bring back painful childhood memories of trying to crawl out the window of my dad's 1965 Chevy Biscayne at 60 mph just to escape the agony of Engelbert.

I'll go with "A Man Without Love" first, then "After The Lovin'".

We used to call him Engelbert's Bum does stink!

And to think he changed it from Arnold Gerry Dorsey to that!

There is nothing wrong being named after a classical composer.
