Subject: "Mellow Yellow" with Bobby Kennedy

Written By: frowsycu on 05/16/06 at 7:27 pm

Does anyone remember a recording from the late 60's of Mellow Yellow (NOT Donovan's version) that had Bobby Kennedy, or an impression of him, talking on it? I am trying to track this down.

I do remember a take off of the Troggs' "Wild Thing" with a Bobby Kennedy sound-alike.

Don't remember that, but I was just acquainted with this:

Leonard Nimoy (as Mr. Spock) singing "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins"

Now, this is not technically '70s, done in 1968.

I've seen in the video, I thought my head was going to explode! It's out there on the web, but I haven't found a link I trust enough to post.
