a friend of mine tells me she likes a song she doesnt know the singer or title to.She says it from late 70s,male singer and has,"i dont want to lose you"..in it?the only i dont want to lose you song i know is from the 80s gloria estefan song!Any help?????

Well if it's not the above, there was a song by the Spinners, a flip side of one of their mid 70s 45s, called "I Don't Want To Lose You". It's a slow song.

There is a song from the movie Sunburn It is a soft ballad with lines like

I am away from my vhs collection and my lps I have both the film and soundtrack but I cannot recall the artist and couldn't find it on line but I think this might be the song your friend is looking for.

i'd be willing to bet the song your friend is talking about is a top 10 tune from the fall of '79 -- Daryl Hall and John Oates "I Dont Want To Lose You" from their "Along The Red Ledge" album........I think the song peaked at around #10
