Its a good Queen song...Though they did have better songs in the 70's like Bicycle Race, Your My Best Friend, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions.

Still, its a good song.

This song was my introduction to Queen.  I was an avid radio listener at the time.  When I first heard it, the song perked my ears up because it sounded especially fresh, creative, and edgy against the spring '75 top 40 landscape.  I asked myself at that time, who is this "Queen"?  (A question I reserved for groups that bent my ear.)

Of course Bohemian Rhapsody would come out a year later and then Queen fully established themselves...  ;)

So the answer to the question is, Yes, I liked it then and I still like it now.  :)

'Killer Queen" remains one of my favorite Queen songs, it was also my first introduction to the group.  Brian Mays' clean, crisp guitar sound was and remains my favorite style of guitarists..........you guys can have Page, Hendrix and Van Halen, I'll be happy listening to May forever

I love the song. When Bohemian Rhapsody came out, my sister told me that it was the same group who sang "Killer Queen" which at the time, I don't recalling hearing. Today, it is one of my favorite Queen songs (along with Don't Stop Me Now, and of course Bohemian Rhapsody).

I was right.

If you read the whole page, a part of it says:

"The chorus of this song was often sung in the sporting TV show Gladiators, when a Gladiator beats a challenger at a game. The gladiator would sing this song as a way to taunt, and the crowd would sing along too."

You're still wrong, you dumbsky.  You said that it was the theme to the show.  What you just quoted proves you're lying......that's not the theme....that's something the Gladiators would sing when they beat someone.  I watched AG....Another One Bites The Dust isn't the theme song.  So essentially, you just proved you're another moron guest who didn't know squat.

And it's still a Queen song, whether it's used in AG or not.  So I was right.  And you're not.  Now go away.

TRUE STORY:  When I was in Greece, I went to a discoteque. The group I was with was outside waiting for our ride to pick us up and of course you can still hear the music coming from inside. We heard a loud bang and I turned toward the road to see this guy sliding across the road-and his moped was following behind him. There was a car parked on the other side and the guy stopped when he hit the back wheel of the car. As I was staring horrorifed by what I just saw, a batch of people ran over to the guy, picked him up and put him in the back seat of a car and the car took off-presumably to the hospital. I was still in shock until I heard the music coming from inside the discoteque. You got it, "Another One Bites the Dust". I couldn't believe they played that song at the paticular time. Of course, I'm sure the DJ had no idea what was going on outside but I thought it was ironic for them to play that song at that time.

I don't know why everyone is arguing with a guest, besides he, or she, is correct, it is not a Queen
song. Just as Baba O'Reilly, Won't Get Fooled Again, and Who Are You, are not Who songs. They
are theme songs from CSI-NY, CSI- Miami, and CSI respectively.  ;)

I love "Killer Queen" - it's one of my favorite Queen songs, and one of the first that got me interested in the group.

And as much as I hate to verge off topic yet again, I must also tell a little story about "Another One Bites the Dust."  My friend's mother, who is a seemingly conservative attorney, actually has it written in her will that she wants "Another One Bites the Dust" to be played at her funeral.  She is a huge Queen fan, and insists upon having it played when they're bringing her casket into the chapel.  Needless to say, she soon became one of the coolest people I know.
