I believe he was a black belt in karate and landed a good role alongside Bruce Lee in the movie Enter The Dragon, perhaps one of the best Bruce Lee martial arts kung fu flicks ever 8)

i liked him in "fantastic voyage," co-starring ike eisenmann. he battled a small furry midget-like creature and lost.
john saxon appeared in fantastic journey with ike eisenmann.
ike eisenmann appeared in "devil dog: the hound of hell" with kim richards.
therefore, john saxon is two degrees away from kim richards.

I've seen John Saxon in lots of things. Beverly Hills Cop III springs to mind. Just watched that again the other day

My top 5 memories of his best roles are as follows:
5. Heather Langenkamp's father in "Nightmare On Elm Street"
4. The Park Director in "Beverly Hills Cop III"
3. His karate role in "Enter the Dragon" (yes, he IS a real Black Belt...he was featured in "BB Magazine" recently.)
2. His recent appearance as a serial killer in "Crossing Jordan" (he was uncredited)
AND! My personal favorite:
1. Sador, the would-be Ruler Of the Universe in "Battle Beyond the Stars"
