Cocker's rendition of 'Bird on A Wire' was the first ever version to chart in Canada, as Leonard Cohen never had a hit with it. In 1990, The Neville Brothers took it to #1 in Canada. Neither version reached the US Hot 100, but the Neville Brothers scored #31 on the US AC Chart

'Teachers' is like one of the greatest soundtracks of all time, so naturally I had to pick 'Edge of A Dream' 8)
I also picked 'A Woman Loves A Man' which also comes from a soundtrack ... 'Bull Durham'.
