I hope you read this as I have just found this site and read your top ten records of the '70's I just wanted to let you know that First Offence was, as you say, The Inmates first album but it certainly was not their last. They made about 8 further albums and Bill Hurley also recorded two solo albums. Quite a few of these are available on Ebay in fact I have seen first Offence on there either on vinyl or the Japanese release which was on CD. Several of the other albums have been re released in the last few years on CD .. usually with bonus tracks .. these also appear on Ebay especially if you search for worldwide items.
Unfortunately Bill Hurley is unwell at the moment but hopefully they will be back gigging again next year ... in fact they have never really stopped and next year will be their 31st year in the business. 8)
Hope this helps with replacing your long lost copy of First Offence :)
