Can anyone help me out here???? I am looking for information on a tv show that had 3 Japanese people that lived either in a mountain or a volcano, that turned into rockets. Any info would be great!

Johnny Sokko And His Flying Robot?... maybe. Johnny Sokko is a kid who accidently takes control of a giant robot that
fight a terrorist organization, The Gargoyle Gang. Johnny's base is a mountain island from what I can remember.
Edit to add: youtube has some episodes, man it takes me back watching them. ;D

where were you when you saw this show? did it air in the US or elsewhere?
The only japanese show I watched in the 70s was Ultra Man

The only japanese show I watched in the 70s was Ultra Man
Ultraman was my favorite show as a kid, I didn't miss an episode, hell I still remember the theme. ;D

I think you mean the Filmation animated series "Space Sentinels", you can get the complete series on Region1 DVD.
