Come to Me - France Joli
No More Tears/Enough is Enough - Barbara Streisand and Donna Summer
Let Me Take You Dancing - Bryan Adams (yes that Bryan Adams - his voice was speeded up on the recording so he sounds like Michael Jackson; he was so mad when the producers did this that from then on his career he refused to acknowledge the song's existence; still a good disco record nevertheless)

Wow! Bryan Adams doing 70s disco.  LOL.  He actually did a dance song with the DJ, Chicane, in 2000, called Don't Give It Up.  I used to love this song.

I love those.  When I was a kid I LOVED "When Will I See You Again" by The Three Degrees.  I am not sure if it is classified as disco.  It has strings and an uptempo beat.

'Let Me Take You Dancing' was the first solo hit for Bryan Adams, and was the only disco song he ever did.  It was a single only release in 1979, and was a minor hit in Canada.  Apparently, it sold well as a 12" single in the USA

I'm surprised nobody's said 'That's the Way I Like It'. As ashamed as I am to admit this, that is a fudgeing catchy song and, in all honesty, is a song that I actually enjoy listening to from time to time (though, like most disco songs - and perhaps most songs in general - it gets VERY old VERY fast if you listen to it on a regular basis). Oh, and I do like 'Disco Inferno' as well. KISS's 'I was Made for Lovin' You' was cool at first but got old  ::).

Yes, that KC song is very popular and fun at parties/weddings.  Disco Inferno is an AMAZING song, probably one of the best Disco songs.  Kiss and Disco?  That sounds a bit scary, lol.  Here are a few more favorites:

Sister Sledge - Lost In Music  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5lzsx3KzBQ
Jackie Moore - This Time Baby    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VEsS0RNf-cs
Chic - My Forbidden Lover  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIjdzYP_wJo
Michael Zager Band - Lets All Chant    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGNrufyCC-0

I am looking at my itunes for 70s disco, and I really dont have that much disco.  Please let me know what songs are good so I can add to my collection.

Giorgio Moroder: Chase theme from Midnight Express soundtrack.

Since it was written as incidental music for Alan Parker's "Midnight Express" (1978) movie (Oh, Biiiiiillllly....) so at the same time as it has the hypnotic disco but it's also dark and anxious with intense Turkish overtones!

I like the BeeJees' songwriting and their use of hypnotic rhythm, I just can't stand the falsetto voices.

Anything Nile Rogers was in on was cool.  He's best known for the group Chic and producing insignificant records, such as David Bowe's "Let's Dance"!

Giorgio Moroder did some cool stuff but he could get excruciating, such as on "Electric Dreams" and "Phillip Oakey."

Ah yes. The genre eveyone trashes, but most secretly like...Disco

I think the best song for me  was  the Hustle by Van McCoy.  Love the horns in it, almost Herb Albert-ish, and the long build-ups right before it breaks into the chorus.  Very positive-sounding song.
