Who remembers the "In the News" segments? Haven't seen it in 30 years until finding one on YouTube by accident. Wow..! The thing at the end was creepy...
Weren't these shown during Saturday morning toons..?

Yeah I remember them sort of - they were a part of my Saturday morning tv routine in the 70s along with Schoolhouse Rock and any show made by Sid and Marty Krofft. :)

I've seen a few of those CBS "In the News" clips on YouTube. The music at the beginning and end (not sure if its appropriate to call it that) is a little creepy but for some reason I kind of like it.
