Written By: Sandra on 10/28/08 at 2:39 pm

Anyone remember this. The frozen mix came in a tub from the freezer. You took a sccop and mixed it with milk. It was sooooo good. This and of course Shake A Pudd'n.

OMG! Yes! You just took me back 30 years - these were the best. I can remember sitting in my den having one of these while I watched after-school cartoons! Good times! If only life were so simple still...

Yes! I sure do remember Thick and Frosty Frozen Milk Shake Mix. I loved them and bought them all the time. I remember the TV commercials for them too. They were promoted by a cartoon Super Hero type character voiced by the now late actor/comedian Arnold Stang. I remember the Shake-A-Pudding too. My favorite flavor was banana. Nice thread. Thanks for posting.  :)

I remember it as if were yesterday, and that was 30-35 years ago. My grandmother always used to get the thick and frosty vanilla  and to go along with it, she would get the Libbey's Spreadables tins of chicken salad. That would be after we all had our Banquet TV dinners in the old metal tray. Sometimes, if we got lucky, we could sneak them into the drive-in theater which was not that too far away. Why is it that all the good things have to go away  :\'(. One can only hope to figure out as to how it was made, or maybe someone out there that used to be employed by one of the companies could start their own business by making them and selling them again  :)
