A great female folk singer with a haunting voice :)

She had alot of good songs, but I liked her songwriting better than her singing in some aspects. She wrote 'This Flight Tonight' which went on to become a BIG hit for Nazareth. Love their version better than hers. She also wrote 'Woodstock' which also became a smash hit for both (Ian) Matthews Southern Comfort and CSNY
My all-time favourite is 'My Secret Place', her 1988 duet with Peter Gabriel. Wikipedia has it listed as not a Top 40 hit in Canada, which is (depending on what chart source you are looking at) both true and not true.
One appearance I really liked her on was the 1985 charity single 'Tears Are Not Enough' by Northern Lights. It remains the only time she ever hit #1 in Canada.
Her solo comes in after Anne Murray and before Dan Hill ...

Always liked Big Yellow Taxi....so I voted for that. But I also really liked 'Both Sides Now' as well...

Actually, Help Me was a substantial chart hit for Joni Mitchell. It's good, too! :)

Love that Free Man in Paris, but Help me is my fave.
I am sorry that so many people recorded Big Yellow Taxi and over did it.
