Now it really is getting too difficult for me to choose 5...  I chose 5 from your list ...but I could have easily could choose 5 alternatives (that are not in your list). I'll have a go later... :-\\

The 5 I chose (from your list) are:

1. I'm Not in Love---10cc
2. Sister Golden Hair----America
3. Bohemian Rapsody----Queen
4. Love Will Keep Us Together---Captain and Tenille
5. Fox On The Run -  Sweet

An alternative 5 would be...

1. Rock'n Roll All Nite - KISS (in yoiur list)
2. Love Hurts - Nazareth (you either loved it or hated it ...I loved it)
3. Laughter In The Rain - Neil Sedaka
4. Listen To What The Man Said - Paul McCartney & Wings
5. Only Yesterday - The Carpenters

This is without mentioning any hits from my favourite bands at that time...The Eagles,ABBA,  Doobies, ELO...Pilot. I could list another 20 or so songs that I like almost as much.... :-\\

'Sister Golden Hair' is the only one from that list that I can listen to forever and not get sick of it.

One of my favourite songs of 1975 is "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow" by Wednesday.  It's so old and hard to find, I have no clip for it (yet)

"Jive Talkin" by the Bee Gees stands out the most on that list for me.
