does anybody remember this saturday morning show..it had a pudgy host(dusty)..with various puppets..i remember a marionette spider and thats it

Yup, remember it when I was a kid in the '70s. Very sweet "la de da" type opening song. It had Maxine the Crow, Happy the Spider, and Scooter the Squirrel as Dusty's (Stuart Rosen) sidekick. Produced in Los Angeles, but we got it here in Pittsburgh, too!

We got it here in the DFW area, as well.
Came on in the morning right before Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood.
Arachnaphobic, so I don't remember the spider but the squirrel was great!
