Subject: Andrew Gold Singer/Songwriter dead at 59

Andrew Gold who topped the charts with the songs like 'Lonely Boy' and 'Thank You For Being A Friend' the latter used as the 'Golden Girls' theme song.
He passed away on Friday in Los Angeles from cancer.
