Subject: Help with a game I had as a kid...has bugged me for years...

Written By: undrpsi on 04/30/13 at 11:46 am

I remember when I was 11-12 (77-78) my family was big into board games. We played all the usual stuff and some strange variations.
One game we played has bugged me for years. Here's all I can remember.

Was Egyptian themed.
Made by a major name (can't remember which one)
Basically it was a tan stepped styrofoam pyramid with s sarcophagus on top.
You had plastic 'jewels' that you moved up the pyramid by going around and up the steps. Each space had some silly hyrogliph on it.
It 'might' have had an electronic voice that would say "The king has seen you...go back" or it might have just moaned.
I'm pretty sure this came out after the 2XL (had one too)....

Anyone? I have looked on all kinds of websites and this is the only game I could never find.

Thanks

Jay

Mostly I had an old memory of the TV commercial, and I seemed to remember it was made by Milton-Bradley.  A few minutes of search was all it took after that.
