Did anyone here see this when it came out?
Even if you didn't see it in 1979 or 1980, what are your opinions on it? I feel it's really underrated.

One film I missed back then, and one of many Star Trek films I still yet to see.

I love all 6 star trek movies :) (Got em all on VHS)
The first one I have says its got 12 mins more..... Does anyone know what was added?? (If I saw the original one,what would be different?)
I guess I dont remember the original one.....

There's two different versions. The theatrical cut which is longer and the director's cut which is shorter with better special effects.

I like it, but knowing that Stephen Collins became a piece of shit, it's difficult to watch now :(

Star Trek Beyond is now available, but not the film in question.
