Subject: Looking for song title and artist

Written By: Anna on 01/09/02 at 09:53 p.m.

I was going through a batch of old cassette tapes, of songs that I had taped from the radio, (Mid to late 80s stuff, from a local alternative music station)  There are 2 songs on these tapes that I really like, and its driving me crazy because I dont know the titles or artists to thesesongs....would like some feedback because I plan on visiting my local music store to purchase these CDS.

Partial lyrics to Song Number 1

Officers and criminals were walking hand in hand.
The king of executioners, he was singing in the band
Microscopes and laserbeams, all were being used  ???
Girls were drinking Novacaine, keeping themselves loose.

Party town...Party town,  ??? hanging around
Party town..Party down...you can hear them beggin for more.

Partial lyrics for Song Number 2

I have no faith...that keeps me from gazing, along the open road....

You are the Queen of hearts...I am the Suicide King (Sung 2x)
Lift me up, lift me up lift me up lift me up....ARRRRGGGHHH
And we'll ride...(or rise)
