I just got the new TV Guide and it had this list in it, and I thought I would post it and see what you guys think of it.
Signs that you are stuck in the 80's
1. You can't go out of the house before applying hair mousse. Lots and lots of hair mousse.
2. Your beloved morning commute mix tape begins with Whitesnakes "Here I Go Again" and ends with Corey Hart's "Sunglasses at Night.
3. You just pulled on your leg warmers and cued up your Jane Fonda workout tape-on your Betamax. (well maybe not ;))(well maybe not ;))
4. Every sitcom on TV these days compares unfavorably to Charles in Charge.
5. You drive a Yugo. (Ok, definately not on this one.)
6. Bartles & Jaymes wine coolers are your favorite beverage.
7. There is nothing-absolutely nothing-funnier than biting into a Big Mac and then yelling "Where's the beef?"
8. You just looked down at your pants and aren't surprised to find out that they are made out of parachute. ;)

Another stupid one is when you are told that there is something strange in your neighborhood and is asked, who you gonna call. And your response is Ghostbusters.

I still reply to the question "who you gonn call" with the answer Ghostbusters. I don't think that'll ever get old..lol... But speaking of Beta, does anyone here even own one anymore ?

Believe it or not, my dad owns one. He swears by them but I think he did break down and brought a VHS because he couldn't find what he wanted on Beta.

I do! It's amazing the video's you can get for "next to nothing" on beta at garage sales. I even find unopened blank beta tapes! I just copy them all to VHS in case the beta blows up (it's pretty tired).http://www.smilies.org/basesmilies/boisdormant.gif
