Subject: Lost Song

Written By: Sean Creighton on 01/30/02 at 09:17 p.m.

OK, I need help.  I have been search every archive I can find for a song.  The problem is I don't remember the name of the song or the band.  I know, this makes it tough but . . . if I see either one I'll remember it.  It was a brother sister band fromt eh mid 80's.  The sister (a blonde) sang and the brother (black mullet) played guitar.  They only had 1 hit and all I recall is part of the lyrics.

"Hold me now,  I want to feel your heart right next to me.  Ooohh baby you know, love's the only thing that matters to me."

The video was just the 2 of them on the beach of some deserted tropical island.

Anyone got any ideas?

I can't necessarily ID the song, but the description sounds remarkably
like the 80s band Nu Shooz, who had songs (that I remember), in order of
popularity, "I Can't Wait", "Point of No Return", and "Should I Say Yes?"
(I don't think it's either of the first two) -

Take a look at this photograph to see if this is the duo you are looking for:

Hope this helps -

The song is called "Hold Me Now" by Canadian duo
One-to-One and it's now stuck in my head.  If you want some more information about them try the link below.

At least I don't have the theme song to Facts of Life stuck there instead. ("When the boys you used to hate, you date, you better best investigate the facts of life..." argh!!!)
