Subject: Rick Springfield Ignored!
I HATE the radio stations because I can't find any that will play Rick Springfield. H e had some very good songs....Jessie's Girl, Don't Talk To Strangers ect. I understand (To a point) Classic Rock stations not playing him but an exception to that is, I've Done Everything For You, written by Sammy Hagar. Hagar also gave credit to Rick for his version and said he rocked. I'm so sick of stations ignoring him just because he was on a soap opera. Talk about predjiduce! I have all of his albums and respect his musical talent.

I know what you mean, as radio stations in my town rarely play him as well. It's pretty sad. I agree that he is very talented but it seems that if you want to hear his music (and many others of his day) you have to buy the albums albums. :(

My local station has "'80s after 8" now, and I hear "Jessie's Girl" once or twice a week.

Our station plays Jessies Girl once a day, and that is about it. On the bright side, I have ordered his VH1 hits and it should be here soon....I can't wait :)

Fortunately, we haven't experienced a lack of Rick's material in our radio stations. I have deep respect for him as well. :)

i love the video jessies girl 8)i saw him on somw sci fi show not long ago but at the end of the show it turned out that he was one of the bad guys :'( rics a cool dude ;D
