Just a few pointers here.

The lyrics in number 15 are featured in both a Sting and a Police song - and people have correctly idenitified the Police song, but which of Stings solo hits was it also in?

For number 8, cornboy is very nearly there, apart from it is a another Abba song which I'm thinking of, and it makes more of a link with the other two correctly identified songs.

Keep guessing :)

It was a great song, wasn't it?  I saw them in concert at an amusement park the year this came out.  When Jeff came out and sang this, I darn near melted.

OK.  Is it "No Condom, No Sex"?  I can't remember the artist; I used to have the 12"...I think it was '88 or '89.  I sold it and I have it on mini-disc (just listened to it in fact), but my notebook with my MDs catalogued is packed up in a box somehwere as I'm moving this weekend.

If I'm correct, will you please supply the name?  It's buggin' the crap out of me...

Bryan - listening to Dead or Alive's "Baby Don't Say Goodbye" 'cause it's on the same MD :)

No, that's not the song. It's a lot, lot more obvious. The lyrics could confuse some, beacuse it's filled with explicit metaphors of contraception. Think 82/83 is the clue which I'll give :)
