Subject: New 80s-Inspired TV Comedy Set To Debut

Written By: 80sTrivia on 05/17/02 at 07:13 p.m.

Well, since That 80s Show has bitten the dust, at least we can take some comfort that there is already at least one show on the horizon with an 80s connection. On the WB network this fall, you will find Do Over, a comedy about a 34-year-old man who is unhappy with his life who somehow manages to time warp back to 1981, where he is just a kid and now has the opportunity to relive his life with all of the knowledge he picked up over the years. It sounds like a good premise, if the writing and acting is up to snuff and it can me more than a one gimmick show! You can find out more info on the show by checking out the preceding link. :)

I wish it were me that could turn back the clock to 1981!

I think we all wish we had the ability to do that, so many things I would change myself.

"Do Over" sounds quite interesting.  Sounds similiar to the movie "Peggy Sue Got Married".  I just hope it doesn't turn out to be too much of a Teen Based show like most shows on WB are.

I agree that the premise of the show sounds good. Of course, we were all thrilled at the premise of T8S... Let's just hope that the writing is funny on is clever and funny and the acting is top notch!  :)

;D  That really sounds like a good show. Just about everyday I wish I could do that. I know it's pathetic. What can I say, I miss my fun years. I don't think I'd change much if I could go back. My life was pretty good. Lots of friends, good family. What else could you ask for. I would have finished High School though.  ;D

I don't know that I would change too much of my past life, either. A few small details, certainly, but nothing major. I would just be so happy to be back in the 80s!!!  ;D
