Subject: Lost_Show

???I remember watching a show on tv with my mom in the early to mid 80's about two guys who worked for the lottery. The show's basic premis was finding lottery winners (who were often unaware they had won) and veryfying the winning ticket. It may have aired only one season. If anyone here has any further info, (e.g. network, original airdates or times, producers, etc.) I would greatly appreciate it! ;D

-Thanks to all you have helped thus far with other questions that have plauged me for years!!

The show was called Lottery! (appropriately), and it was pretty much the way you described it. Two guys, one from the lottery place and one from the IRS or something tracked down winners of the Intersweep lottery. The show followed what happened in the winners lives and whatnot. I never watched it much, but I do recall it ran right around the same time as Automan. (Which also received an untimely plug-pull, IMO :'()

Here’s some info I found:

It starred Ben Murphy and Eric Rush and ran on ABC from Sept 9, 1983 to July 12, 1984.

Sleevewipe,
Thanks so much for the info!
I was able to find a lot of info just by knowing what network the show ran on and the original airdates! Ahhh, yet another hole is filled in my swiss cheese brain! ;)
