Subject: Who remembers Night Flight on the USA network?

It was an awesome show! It's the first place tht I ever saw two chicks kiss! But it was a show that featured really strange music videos, movie shorts and just a plethora of strangeness. So, who remembers it? Huh?

Yeah...I loved that show too!  I think I've mentioned it in a post relating to "Friday Night Videos" that was on TBS.  I remember watching the movie "Forbidden Planet" there, seeing a documentary on a "new" camera technique used in Cabaret Voltaire's "Sensoria" video...all kinds of good stuff.

So what did they show that showed two girls kissing???

I have some episodes of Night Flight on video...theyre getting kinda grainy so Im transferring them.  I LOVED Night Flight and have episodes featuring movies like "Urgh: A Music War" (chock full of live perfromances by many 80s artists..), videos by Tony Powers and Firesign Theater, New Wave Theater, "Bambi Meets Godzilla" and many other shorts and fun stuff....  I wish they would rebroadcast those shows someday...

I used to watch it all the time!!

There was one show they had on, I've asked about before.  Someone keeps answering it for me, and I keep forgeting the answer so please bear with me and my forgetfulness.

It was originally a kid's show from Japan.  Most likely the original "Power Rangers" or something very like it.  Four guys and a girl in colorful skintight costumes fighting against monsters in rubber suits. Inevitably, everyone would go giant-sized. (Wow.  I've just described 99% of all Power Rangers episodes).

Anyways, for Night Flight, they completely rewrote the scripts, instead of translating them.  Most of the dialog was (for that time) racy, even a bit naughty, which is why is was only on late at night.

Can anyone indulge me and tell me the name of it?  It was one of my favorite silly shows back then.
