Some of my favorite 80s shows were:"Gimme A Break", "The Cosby Show", "ALF", "Night Court", "Family Matters" (which debuted in 1989), "Knots Landing"(which I watched with my Mom), "Dallas" ( which at my Grandmom's house was a must see tv show) and the "Smurfs" plus other 80s shows that I liked that I can't think of at this time. Oh! I forgot, I'm back!!!!

I like most sitcoms from the 1980's. my top one is and always was Cheers. it was always in my family and so it's like part of my DNA. Golden girls is also one that i love. Cosby show too. mostly things that were on Thursday and Saturday nights during the late 80's.
for drama's I like Knots Landing, but the first time i watched it was this year. I watched it just to see how the show went from 1970's clothes all through 1980 and then to the 90's because it lasted so long. 14 years 1979-1993. other than that i like the colby's but since i have soapnet (had it until recently) I have seen all the episodes so it gets boring fast because their were not many seasons to it.

Sitcoms I watched uduring the 80's that I liked: Cosby Show, Hogan Family, Facts of Life, Its A Different World, Different Strokes, Perfect Strangers, Who's The Boss, and Growing Pains. Like somebody else said Family Matters was good and started in 89. Saved By The Bell started in 89 too I think and lasted till '93.

I forgot about that show, I loved it! Especially Bruno, Doris and Leroy! The other, very short-lived, series I loved was Whiz Kids, it had the boy who played Albert on Little House on the Prarie in it I think. I also loved the 80's Twilight Zone show and Amazing Stories.

Hi everyone. I would have to say Knots Landing, Dynasty, Dallas, and I believe Wiseguy starring the Hunky and Sexy Ken Wahl. I remember Benson and loved it along with Miami Vice ... ahhh those clothes that Don wore, Golden Girls gave us even the younger audience members something to laugh about and strangely we could no matter the age relate to their daily and often times humourous exploits. There is probally many more but can't think of them at the moment.

I was a youngster through most of the 80s so my favorite 80s series were more juvenile than the drama shows you mention...
