Does anyone remember how to play chinese jacks?

OK, don't quote me, but I think this is how we played... :)

All your chains/jacks were supposed to be same size.  More links meant larger which meant easier; fewer meant smaller and harder to do.  Anyway, whatever size, you'd toss 1 in the air and start by grabbing 1 other jack.  Next toss you'd grab another jack, and build up until none but 1 left (ostensibly the tossed 1 - which didn't have to be the same, as I recall).  You're supposed to get all the other jacks in your hand after (#jacks-1) tosses w/o dropping them.

Please someone correct if you're more positive than I! ???
