I've heard about this new album on the TV, and if Atomic Kitten's Eternal Flame is anything to go by, then this CD of the original and best should be a welcome relief.

"Eternal Flame" was one of those songs (like Peter Cetera's "Glory of Love") that made everyone melt when it came on the radio, even if you were a guy and didn't want to admit it.
Unfortunately, those are the same kinds of songs that the radio plays to death until you are sick of hearing them. Oh well.
Anyway, "Manic Monday" is still the ultimate Bangles song IMHO.

My fave Bangles song is the upbeat "In Your Room". This song really makes me want to get up and do a Footloose dance!!! ;) ;D

Completely agree :). Even though Simon and Garfunkel were fantastic in their own right, I much prefer the cover. I just think that because Susannahs voice is so amazing!

I do Agree with you but "Manic Monday" and "Eternal Flame" are also their best songs but its difficult to choose bet'n these!

Sorry, but I have always hated the Bangles. I thought all their songs were terrible....Eternal Flame being the worse. :-X
