Well, gee ..... Should I raise my hand? ..... Oh, but it'll be just embarassing if people knew that I ..... And in Big Lots in the early 90's, in the nothing-happening records & tapes section, are you sure I oughta .....
    "People don't realize,
They all seem to ask us
'Who do you think you are?
     Are you a stahhhhh,
     Are you a STAHHHHHHH?'
Well, we're the Mini-Pops, ooh ooohhh"

Yes I admit it now shut up & leave me alone, allright?

I got that tape because of the thing I have for "strange & bizarre" music. I got rid of that tape but kept 2 of the songs on a CD with my CD recorder. (Mini-Pops theme and their version of "Walkin' on Sunshine")
I wish Big Lots had their "nothing-happening record & tape" section again. I got the book-&-record sets for Star Treks I-III (don't get me started on the lame Capt. Kirk immitator) and other goodies from there.
For those who don't know, the Mini-Pops were a group of kids who recorded an album in 1986 with their versions of oldies as well as such then-recent hits as "Our House", "Cruel Summer", "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun", and others.

I'll let the above quote that you left on another thread after attacking someone else speak for itself...

And for the record, I'm definitely not from "Noo Yawk", lol...

Now come on, guys. We're supposed to be "attacking" the Mini-Pops here.
If you notice, there's nothing in the "forum guidelines" against attacking the Mini-Pops.
And there's a reason for that.

creerain,

That particular post did come off just a little defensive, cranky even.

80smusicfreak didn't attack you and he did include a happy smiley at the end of his statement.  :) ;)

Relax, we're here to have fun!

I wonder what songs they sang on that 1st album? Did it have the "Mini-Pops Theme" that I posted some of the words from earlier?
