my first memory was in 1985 i had this big wheels in the style of a 3 wheeled dirt bike and I guess I wanted to be like evil knievel because i rode it down our front/basement stairs I remember my brother coming running over screaming "Mom he did it" and then they brought me into the bathroom and i was all bruised.

I hope you were okay, Adambomb. I used to do those kind of things when I was that age, I guess then you think you are indestructable, and it literally takes someone to seize you away from the top step to stop you from serious pain.

My first memory... my childhood was fraught with disaster and general craziness. The first thing I ever remember was my first day of school, when... well, I never used to like going to school, basically, and although I was never absent, I always watched the childrens television shows that were on at lunchtime. Television was so much better in those days, and I purely wanted in.

Well, I was kind of a klutz growing up.  Heck, I still am. ;D  My first memory is the back of an ambulance.  I had cracked my head open for the 2nd time...I remember riding in the ambulance, thinking it was pretty cool. 8)

My first very clear memory is of July 4th, 1976.  I have several snapshot memories that supersede this one, but the U.S. Bicentennial celebration is much more vivid than any of those.  I was just 4.  I also vaguely recall lots of President Ford and the word "OPEC" on the T.V. in what I believe was that same summer.

My first 1980's memory of any import is of being in my mother's car and driving home in the rain from her polling site.  I remember we were listening to the radio and Reagan was already predicted as the U.S.'s new President.  Obviously, this was November, 1980.

My first memory is of someone with long blonde hair leaning over the side of my crib.My Mum had to have her hair cut off in the end because I just kept wrapping my hands in it and pulling and pulling apparently!!
After that it's laying on my stomach on a swing pushing myself too and fro when I was about 3.
